Inspired by a friend’s impending fatherhood, I wanted to design a journal in which dads could record their cheesiest jokes, keeping them away from the public.
A leather cover with embossed text keeps things sophisticated. An illustration of wind-up teeth, bright blue book marks, and paste down end paper featuring a pattern of Groucho glasses, rubber chickens, and other goofy objects keeps things…less sophisticated.
